Hi All, sorry this has likely been covered many times.

Going to try SPDs, I like the Shimano mt40 shoe + 540 pedals, I have no local dealer or much time to spare trying loads of different shoes on, I'm a UK 9 (43) - 91/2, most 9 are ok, but with narrow shoes I need 91/2s, what size mt40s should fit, with normal weight socks.

I bad sod to anwser, but your experiances could save me a lot of bother.

Many thanks Gary.

Shimano 45's. Only an educated guess though. I'm 8.5-9 and wear 44 Shimano's.

Hi

Just received my MT40s from cycle basket (soo cheap), size 45, and they fit my wide size 9 feet to perfection, they could not fit better, thanks again for the sizing help, spot on guys !!, PS also got 540 SPDs from CB @ £27.

Regards G...
