Hi,
Just wanted to know if any of you would be interested in an event im organising on the south coast(Shoreham beach).
From March 2007 @9am on the last sunday of every month im going to be holding an extreme sports boot sale where you can buy and sell new used kit, Its open to MTB/Windsurfing/kitesurfing/Mountain boarding and the list goes on.
Im interested to see if it is something that would appeal to Mountain bikers as when I was looking for a secondhand decent MTB I could not find many apart from the odd photo in classifieds an ads in Ebay and you never get the full story from a picture and you never know if its a scam!!, I would much rather see a Bike in real life and then you know what your buying. Same goes for spares.
The cost to sell would be £10 and you could sell as many as you like(reasonable personal amounts)So its cheaper than Ebay.
The only problem to some of you would be location but you could always tie it in with a trip to the south downs way(100 miler)
So can I have your views/opinions and thoughts(sensible ones please!!)

But Mike - you dont own a boot, or a car for that matter unless I am mistaken.

Are you a regular and have you got the badge!!

Anyway on a serious not do you kite as well as MTB.. not at the same time of course.
If so what do you think of the event good or bad. Would Mountain bikers go??

I do extreme sleeping and mountain biking.

I am sure MTB bods would turn up, we have a knack of collecting masses of high quality, basically fine gear that got replaced with some new item of bike-bling.

And some people are always on the lookout for something cheap for a hack.

If it was in my part of the world, I would probably pop along once in a while, unfortunately it isnt.

As long as you have rules whereby you have to prove ownership of 'sale' item.

The last thing we need is another outlet for our stolen bikes
