I'm looking for s set of trousers (not tights) that are smart/casual looking but warm, windproof, don't need to be waterproof and don't cost too much. I'm thinkin of gettin the endura humvees, but don't know how warm/windproof they are.
If the 3/4 are anything to go by then they won't be that warm, they're made out of a pretty light weight material. Also there are no tabs on the legs to tighten around the ankles, so when you get a bit wet the material will flap around. Try some of the Troy Lee trousers, they're good.
The Humvee trousers do have long tabs on the bottom of the leg to tighten them and stop them flapping around. Dont know how warm they are in the depths of winter as Ive only had mine a few weeks. But they are comfotable and well thought out. There not waterproof but then there not designed to be. I really like them. Much better than tights.
Cheers for your views, I've checked the hummers out on some sites and gonna go for them from wiggle who say theyre windproof and water repellent, add in the £35 price tag & good look and they seem to fit my "criteria" quite well.
