Can anybody advise on the 661 CG-2 Cedric Gracia gloves? I need a pair of gloves for riding during the cold and wet weather and need to know what these are like? Also anyone else have any recomnedations as to what other gloves would be good for riding in. Mostly XC with a bit of DH.

they arnt really winter gloves The carbon Knuckle can be usefull for scrapping outside the local on a friday night but can often do more damage if you smack them hard enough there is a chance of the carbon knuckle cutting into your hand (many motorbike riders have found this out.)

FWIW i use the £2.99 Aldi winter cycling gloves at this time of year and they are spot on ( i have 3 pairs which should last the winter as the inner liner has a habit of coming away and rucking up but £2.99 a pair i dont care) and havent suffered cold hand with them... i have some 661 MTX's and they are cold (they let the wind through) so i save them for the summer ideally you want something that can keep the wind out and repell water. altura and Gore do a good spread of winter gloves
