Mac Minis are alright,If you like the Mac OS-Lot more stable less crashes apparently.(might be good for biking? Wire less key board and mouse-jobs a goodun!)

Arhem!

Urmmm My mates have had spesh Computers and broken 3 of them.

Try Blackburn or Cat eye?

You get what you pay for.

I ride with out a computer I gauge my rides by how much I'm smiling and how I feel about my speed. Work out distances later on Map.

Having computer that crashes less would be great, but its usually me not the computer that crashes!

Don't fancy the Spesh, but don't know anyone with a Blackburn.

Cateye is the safe option I guess.

Any, within reason. I just want a good one but don't want to pay for gadgets that never get used.

I have thought a backlight may be a good idea for night riding.

The only reason I ask is I bought a GPS and it does everything a computer ans tells me how to get home, how much I've climbed, allows me to map my route, etc etc etc. But you do need to spend a bit more.

I did consider that suggestion, but the Geko I have now is a bit of a faff and is not very clear at displaying speeds etc.

Have considered buying cheap computer and using Geko or buying a more suitable one.

I use Memorymap in conjunction with my Garmin Vista. I have to say I'm very impressed and think it was money well spent.

The display is crystal clear and has more settings and features than I will ever make full use of!
