I'm after a decent, lightweight (possibly carbon) riser bar. However it needs to be at least 26'' as my current 25'' RF evolve feels a bit narrow. Anyone got any useful suggestions?
Just had a look at the Easton carbon bars; bit silly really, the xc risers are all narrower than the EA70's. which is rubbish. I suppose there is the £100 carbon DH bars but then they weigh the same as the alloy EA70's! I dont know; decision..
I got the Carbon X-Lite XLR 190grams, 660mm length for £50 off CRC, feels nice, absorbs vibrations noticeably better than the previous steel DH bars, if there still there.
That's a pretty random statement , what is cheap and all bars will bend/snap ultimately. They could be cheap because they weigh a ton not because they are weak.
mmm, how about EA70's ! I know you said you want to try new but whats the point of possibly wasting money on something you dont like. Ive just got some EA70s for my 303.
I had EC70 risers on my last bike and loved them... Bit of a strange looking shape to them when you first fit them, but they're so comfortable when you ride!
