Don't like fingerless myself as they are always a biatch to get off. I like specialized ridge which were highly reccommeded by Singletrack mag last year. They are normally about £19 but mine were reduced to £10.99. They are summer goves and too chilly for really cold days but, I've had 'em for over a year now and they're going strong despite the fact I ride at least 3 times per week. BTW - the padding is just for the Ulna nerve region (not general padding) Hope this helps.
I still want to find some more Qranc xc3's. I had them for years, and only got rid of them when they really fell to bits/disintergrated. And even then I didn't want to throw them away! They were so comfortable, with the perfect balance of protection and weight.
i've got a pair of these babies work a treat, very cool, and if you want to talk in terms of padding crashed the other week, left my arms and wrists with massive cuts in them however my hands were untouched - they are brilliant gloves + they have loops on the fingers for quick removable making them non-bitchy, try em out ;)
