I'm currently fixing up a Claude Butler bike for a mate which has somehow ended up without a back wheel.

Its disc specific, but he only want to pay pretty much sod all to get it on the road.

Anybody got a rear disc wheel they dont want/need and willing to let it go for 2 bob and a conker - or know of somewhere selling one for the same.

I'm looking for a bargain for him - a built up Deore on a cheap mavic would prob cost to much! ( I know, I know!!)

Halford have a great cheap set of wheels on offer and they are less than £90 a pair. I've got them on my XC bike and when a hib goes it's just £45 for a whole new wheel.

Look in the bargain section of Merlin website..they often have odd , cheap wheels knocking about.

Nothings for free!...unless of course you down on your luck and had your bike nicked!

I don't it for free - all I'm saying is I'm after some proper cheap beasts - somehting like a quando hub on some crappy rim. Nowhere seems to sell anything less than deore!
