Chain Reaction have 19" BeOne Hornet plus at 949 and in 19" frame, which I would think would fit you nicely, with a bit of stem showing! nice spec too. They've got 21" at 899 as well. But as your post is a couple of months old you've probably bought by now - please post a review when you get a chance, as I might buy one of these on the Bike to Work scheme.

I posted a review on the chain reaction site.

It is a really good bike with an amazing price.

hey peeps just purchased a hornet plus 2006 frame from a friend but dont know that much about it, i was wondering if someone could help me with a couple of things, i need to know what seatpost size it takes i think it may be 31.mm but i'm not sure, also sid (my friend mentioned somthing about not being able to get a proper fitting front mech. is there a special fitment or something?

Lastly what kind of headset is required? will a standard Hope 1&1/8" jobbie fit?

many thanks

Hi Nick! Which was the final size? I'm 1.90 m tall and I'm looking for the 21", is it right in your opinion?

Thanks!

Hi,

I'm 6ft and have the 21inch, perfect, really comfortable climbing.

The front mech does have  pre-fab bracket for the frame.

Any chance you could post some pix of your front mech please nick?

would a bb mounted front mech work?

answers on a postcard!

It's a welded on small, maybe 10mm, tube and a sleeve that fits between the BB and cranks. Unless you have a TIG welder forget copying the factory one. You will have to make your own version.

Anyone know what the bb is before I whip mine off.
