Hoping to get the Missus a bike soon and will need new pedals.

So what flat pedals are suitable for size 5 feet for general XC use?

I think V8 / V12's might be too big.

I use V12s and I've only got size 5 1/2 feet, and they're fine for me

I thought a big pedal would increase the chance of her placing her foot too far back resulting in a shin-scrape? no?

For £144 I'd want them to do the pedalling, clean and service the bike after every ride, and make me a cup of coffee every morning!

Barbara gets on well with Shimano DXes.

V 8's fine with size 4 girly feet, would highly recommend shin protectors though.

Got some Wellgo V8 copies. She seems perfectly happy on them though has not slipped off them yet.
