Hi, i have found a few threads on this subject but they are a few years old now.
Has anyone got or know someone has got a Civic Type R and uses a two bike rack easily?. (the car is an 05 Reg, not the newest spaceage shape!).
The long spoiler causes problems for a rear mount with straps, Honda sells roofs bars for the Civic Type R but doesn't recommend putting bike attachments on there... i suspect they would be fine and its just to cover themselves?
Any ideas or suggestions please as i don't fancy putting my muddy wet bike in the back of my new pride and joy!
I'm sure a search of the net (roofbox.co.uk are a good dealer and do them for £45!!!!) may save a bit on that but make me a reasonable offer and you could have them!

Cheers for all advice... i know know exactly what i need for the roof bar system.
Although... went biking last night and just put my bike inside the travel bag and seperate wheel bags and it all went in the back of the Civic with room to spare, so might do that instead.
It's ok now but when the mud and filth of winter arrives i might have to get the rack.
Yes all thule kit a bit expensive but worth it , very solid. I use it two too three times a week with no probs. Once you get use to it it only takes 10 mins to set up.
