I'm heading off to Spain 15th-22nd Sept to go biking.  I've had a few friends who have had their bikes destroyed before by baggage handlers when they had them in cardboard boxes/bike bag.

 So, I'm a bit paranoid and would rather use a proper hard case bike box, but 150 quid is pushing it a bit for me at the moment. But would still like something to properly hold my bike like this one from the  Edin Bike Coop

 I was hoping that someone would kindly lend/hire one out to me.  I appreciate this is a bit cheeky/asking you to trust me but it would be great if someone would.

I live in Edinburgh and ride around there a lot.

30 seconds of Googling tells me this:  Join 3PeaksTri in Scotland and they hire hardshell boxes to members for £5 or £10.  Didn't read it in detail and I can't vouch for it or give any more details but looks like it's your answer.

I did use google and have asked at some local clubs as well, just thought I'd try asking in lots of places as I realise I am asking quite a lot.

3peakstri are a bit of a drive at 300 miles ish round trip (?) so an option but not that local.
