I've got 27 CR123a's currently which work,  6 from 7 day shop that are pointless in current lights,  might work in something else 1 day though,  confused as to how you get the run time outta the same batterys with more output and likely more draw,  just 2 in it yes ??

Dyl-out of interest which Cree light have you got and whats the runtime like? I could do with a half decent LED for the helmet but don't fancy £140 for a Joystick.

This one Podge,  here £11,  2 CR123a Recharables last @50-60mins.

4 batterys on the site cost £3 area ( get the none protected ones )  and £6 for the charger.

Yeah I've got 2 on my head,  I use 1 at a time to extend my run time before battery changes,  occasionally both on which really is BRIGHT.

P&P is free from that site to,  not a e-bay cheap goods expensive P&P Deal!!

Not rechargeables and 3,  I'll stick to my rechargeables then,  I do alot of night riding.

Pack of 4 880mah at dealextreme.com is @£2.5 or something,  charger £6.  Just more changing required.

im more than happy with my hope vision led lights but the bracket is a bit of a pain.

you need 2 different size allen keys and a small ring spanner to attach them to your bars which can get a bit fiddly,  or one allen key to attach them to your helmet.

only a problem if your constantly putting them on and taking them off mind.

once on they are very secure and the angle adjustment is secure
