50/50 Pedals - Loose Plates

Has anyone else experienced problems with the plates on these pedals coming loose? Mine came off halfway through their second ride. Trying to get hold of replacement screws is an absolute nightmare too, CRC don't stock them. All they could do was send me 2 spares they had kicking around.

After paying £60 i'd expect much better performance than this.

They were threadlocked prior to fitting them. And i got these to replace my MX30s. I preferred the shimanos to the V12s too.
According to our resident jump monkey and flat pedal fetishist, 50/50s are 'whack ting' and you need Gussett Slim Jims or (even) Wellgo B25s.

i went from v8's, to v12's to mx30's

brilliant pedals, reliable too (so far)

grip wise, how do the 5050's measure up? i've heard the axle bulges a bit too much

I dont really ride hard anymore, and as they're still new i cant really comment further. Up to now they've been fine aside from the bolt issue.

I've got some extra replacement bolts from Crank Brothers' main UK supplier which they gave me free of charge...

...Which was nice
