Wondering about investing in a set of Hayes Strokers. Currently using HFX9s which I am happy with.

Merlin seem to have a pretty good offer on the Stroker Rydes but I am struggling to find any reviews for them. Any thoughts?

Shimano XT wave jobbys,  cheaper better modulation more power,  the Strokers are supposed to be on/off just like the HFX's.

And having a annoying mouse sound all night,  I like the idea of pads parking further away from the disks.

Thanks for this. Pretty mixed response I guess. Looking at the Rydes on net the calliper look a lot like the old HFXs,  and uses a different pad to the Stroker Trails.

Still not sure which way go. May well go the path of the XT and the reliability of the big S.

XT Servo,  was on the Mongoose in MBR test and they liked it,  very adjustable,  lever travel and lever start position both adjustable without tools on the fly.
