Considering some waterproof, warm winter footwear - any recommendations - shimano winter boot vs North Wave and Lake equivalents?

Ive got the shimano winter gore-tex booties and they are ok but not warm - im thinking of getting overshoes for them and in hindsight should have gone for the Lakes!!

I ordered some Northwave Celsius J GTX's from www.wiggle.co.uk, they are on sale at the moment and good value at £80. If you decide to order these please learn from my misfortune.

I have now ordered 2 pairs and about to get a 3rd due to the misleading sizing chart and the small sizing of Northwaves.

I am a UK size 11 normally (Euro 45) so I ordered this size and it was very small. So I ordered the 46, and still this was too small. To allow room for a decent sock and room to move toes for circulation to keep feet warm I will need to order a size 47!

Be aware of the Italians and their small feet )
