Have you tried replacing the bars with something with more upsweap the original Syntec bars are a funny shape.. and a set of riser might give you some more room
I actually changed the bars to a set of BBB Carbon ones....which if i'm honest have made the situation worse....
I am going to swap the whole set up (shorty stem and big bars) for a smaller set up I have off of my old marin which is approx 100mm stem and some standard radius risers...
hopefully this and the new amendments from the other lads will make the bike awesome...
Measure your current post, how much is out making sure the seats at the right height, looks a tad low there maybe, ( testing method, with your riding shoes on, heal of your foot you leg should be straight at the bottom of the stroke, but not leave the pedals )
Not going to cost you anything, to try my layback ish post and my longer stem, so wait and see I guess.
had a look at me ole post.....its a 350mm one currently....and i still have about 70mm of which I can still use....if your with me....its not out to its max basically....
Its an undercover operation getting to my bike during work though so I am yet to see if those extra inches will make all the difference....they can in some situations
the 350mm post at its maximum is perfect....as per the heel test
I have a longer stem around here somewhere....although it only fits standard bars.....ill stick that on and see how the cockpit feels then....dum de dum....be back in a mo/or a weekend...lol....
sorry couldnt get to the post office today but will sort it out early next next week. id definately give a longer stem and seat post a go before buying another bike.
seems ages ago since this was last discussed ( and since ove been on here)
but thought i'd say thanks for all your help...jeffs BB has improved the transmission no end...and most sizing issues have been resolved with the above ideas...
