Does anyone know where I can buy an Orange Evo8 frame? I looked at the Orage Web site, and it gives you a price for the frame, but so far I've been unable to find anyone that sells the frames.
erm, i'm looking on their website and can't see anything about frame only for an evo8.
just curious, why you're after a frame only for a bike that only costs £1k fully kitted out?
i'd have thought the frame would be a fairly basic one, just a bog standard alu h/t. if you want a frame only from a good company, you're normally looking at about half that for the frame alone.
i don't know if you're getting my point, but if you've got your own kit to go on it, why are you looking at a mediocre frame?
If you look at http://www.orangebikes.co.uk/2008bikes/evo8.php under "Frame Pricing", it says £379.95 for the frame - kind of implies the frame is for sale separately. I have a lot of kit lying around my garage, so I thought I would build a bike with it. I'm not looking to build a state of the art racing machine, just a reasonably good bike. I'd heard Orange make good quality frames which are reasonably light. But I'm open to suggestions for other frames ...
yup the frame is sold separately, contact your local orange dealing lbs and they will order you one. or ring stiff, leisure lakes etc and they will get you one in.
imo there is nothing mediocre about a £380 frame, look at on-ones, highly rated bikes for about 150 notes.
the evo 8 is a very nice looking frame, used to have an evo 2 many moons ago..
