looking for some foul weather trousers and found some with internal gaiters. are these similar to the type you might find on a pair of snowboarding trousers? how would these work with SPD shoes? does anyone use this combination? all input welcome of course.
they would work well with some of the more boot like spd shoes, but if you're thinking about using them with normal shoes, they'll have next to no benefit.
but if you were wondering whether they would foul the cleats or something? they tend to go under the arch of your foot, whereas your cleat should be more forward. there could be problem with flat pedals, or something like crank bros mallets, but with normal spd's, egg beaters etc... should work fine
