With the arrival of the new Reign somewhere around the 14th (now ) can someone recommend me a thick hefty chain lock to loop through the frame and an anchor to be installed into the ground?
those up and over doors with the center turn handle are very easy to gain entry even if its a multi point locking system... If you know how (dont ask because i wont tell but it is stupidly easy)
look into something like this
for the outside if it looks secure the scum will look else were
I use motorbike chains and locks, 2 of em and a 2 wall anchors bolted in with 4 tamperproof bolts. I got them off ebay are cheaper than cycle ones and better IMO.
The bedroon is the safest answer ...really. After the theft of my bikes from the basement of my old flat I moved them into the flat itself and bought a bike stand a bit like this one so they didn't take up to much space and the bikes became like works of art on the wall too!

Your garage might have only one entrance, but I heard of three MB's being stolen by the chavvy, scummy beestards taking the bricks out at the rear end. Keep them in the house and D-lock em to a wall anchor attached to an outside wall. Doesn't look that bad.
And dont leave any tools lying around in case they get in.
James like ive said numerous times in private mails to some on here and in public, theyll try and get in no mateer what, all you can do is delay them and theyl go else where.
I fit security products so know.
Will send you some tips by email , just let us have an email address , so i can send the same details to anyone else interested.
