I have a 2005 Kona Explosif in pretty good condition and recently had stolen both wheels. I need to replace everything: rims, tyres, rotors(dont know the size I need) and cassette (dont know size I need).
Could be an expensive trip Jason. What's your budget and what's your favoured type of riding? Note rim width isn't neccessarily a guide to wheel strength. The hand-built wheels on my stolen bike only had narrow light 717 rims and 2mm x-ray spokes but they were much tougher than my new WTB Speed disk wheels with thinner spokes which have warped 3 times in just a few short weeks. Find a wheel builder who knows his or her stuff and let them guide you.
I reckon an LBS would do you deal on the fact you're buying an entire new set of wheels. And the wheels needn't be costly if you're replacing the Factory wheels you had on the bike before.
Judging by the fact you don't know what rotors you were running you can get a half decent LX wheelset for around £100
Mavic Crossrides or Crosslands. Should be able to pick up a pair for under £150, quality hubs and good stiffness. The Crosslands which I have are UST compatible and slightly heavier.
