Does anybody out there have the pleasure of owning a San Andreas XC 2003?  If so, be very careful not to bust your rear hanger bracket!.  For the last 9 months I have been waiting for Mountain Cycle to come up with a spare bracket.....sick of waiting, I tried the 'we stock every hanger in the world dot com' type websites......nobody does pattern Mountain Cycle parts, not anyone!!

Has anybody else had similar problems and if so have you over come them or still stuck with a £1300 frame going nowhere for a £15 part?

Have you asked on one of the american MTB forums? They might know of a source for either genuine or pattern parts, as Mountain Cycle is a more popular brand in the US.

I've known the new operators of Mountain Cycle go out of their way to offer support to those that own their bikes. I'd be very surprised if they couldn't sort you out.

I tried BETD and other websites offering hangers but they either didn't do it are needed a part to use as a pattern, as the one I have is in two halves that was no good!

I'll go into detail with MC direct via the suggested sites above.  So briefly, I have tried The MC website link that some have attached but the items listed are not the part I require.  3 or 4 attempts of trying the 'contact' link failed to get a response, then a friend of mine managed to get a name of someone at MC in Dec 07. who to be fair was very helpful, but, I'm still waiting with no bike to ride and now at my wits end!
