as im gettin a new bike (pinnacle trojan 2.0) i want to make it a bit more all mountain yes i know its a jump bike but i prefer them so was wandering if i can i put the lowers (boots) of the argyle fork onto the complete upppers of the pikes
I would just stick with the pikes. The travel can adjust to 100 for your jumping or more for exploring new terrain. The pikes are plenty tough enough for any amount of abuse you may thrown at it but at the far end of the scale they are not jumpforks but bloodyhard b'stards in their own rite. The main diff between the argyle and pike seems to be the steel taperwall stanchions. The lowers may be a bit more beefy as well but you will be limited to 100mm travel. I don't believe you can swap lowers from one to the other.
