right next, I'm in the throws of building up my first full susser, (can't afford a full new rig) and i need a new rear show for it......won't bore you with details but basically i've narrowed it down to 2 shocks both of which will fit and i can bush easily.
my big question is how far can you push damping.....will it go slow enough to border on a lockout or will it still kill me on climbs?
basically i ride a 50 mile round trip to work twice a week up some nasty hills and do about the same in hamsterly after work and @ weekends......I'm looking at something i can set for work then adjust for the forest....hence thinking lockout is worth it but could i push damping far enough?
I trained you during your induction into BCS, remember? Petes the name. what shock is it on the frame, might be able to get it tft'd to sort it out. If you ever fancy joining us in hamsters, give me a shout
hi there pete, i do remember you.....keep seeing you over by bondy but never get a chance to say hi
shock in there atm is a shock works jobby which is not worth the postage tbh. have just ordered a manitou radium rl, which although ain't the best is as good as i can afford, should be able to respray the frame tonight and i'll get it built up over next week. not much going on this week as i was knocked off my motorbike on friday so mainly just watching parts arrive and doing some easy prep work.
i'm hoping to make thursdays my regular for hamsterly with bondy barry etc
