Help find needle in a haystack

It seems like I'm searching for the proverbial needle in a bloody huge haystack. Please help !

I want some flat or very close to flat carbon bars, 25.4mm x 600mm or preferably a bit longer that will accept bar extensions for my carbon hardtail.

I seem to going round and round in ever decreasing circles, either they accept bar ends but the length is 580mm or they are over 600mm but they are not designed for bar ends, please note I most certainly do not want to chance putting bar ends on bars that are not designed for them, thats a short cut to A&E.

Anyone, anywhere got any ideas ????

Interesting reply Si, without seeing them in the flesh, how long are the extensions ? I'm wondering if the are long enough to provide the leverage I'm looking for on the climbs. I'm  also a tad unsure on how these would work on bars where the maker says they are not suitable for bar end, I guess a lot depends on how the lever on the ergons is held in place.

Are these any good?

Sorry just noticed they are oversized, but if its the holy grail you are searching for it may be that you have to change your stem to suit.

Could be but I would prefer 610mm if poss, I had some FSA K force on my Flux and they took a battering without any issues. I like FSA kit and the UK disty provides great product support.

I was watching a thread a while ago on another forum when a bar manufactur said that using ergon's  wouldn't be covered in the warrenty.

Not cheap but the first that sprung to my mind: here

Thanks for link but I feel like one of my teenage kids when I say OMG.

I like my bike bling but £120+ for some flat bars, thats crazy - thanks anyway - the search continues.

Had some Maxm carbon bars on my PRST1 with bar risers but I'm not sure how wide they were (but had a slow speed off still hanging onto risers and that snapped the bar) and currently its got easton flatties with risers fitted but is only 580mm wide.  Try Maxm as I think they were slightly wider
