Too true, working with carbon fibre is highly skilled and technical process, you get what you pay for. No doubt with the amount of testing and facilities that Giant have, you will be getting a quality, good value frame. Shame as I find Giant bikes never seem to fit me too well.

What about the Focus range of bikes? they're pretty cheap and seem to get good write ups.

That viper looks the cheapest so far, £450 for a 1.3kg frame, not bad!

Or £200 for carbon/alu frame @ 1.6kg.....

Only looking for a frame DK, maybe 2nd hand is a better idea for cheap (quality) carbon

 They also have a 900-gram road bike frame, which is very sweet.    The raw lacquer frameset price is $425, thus landed duty paid group price of around £315.
