Yep, they've redesigned the Fat Abert so it's front and rear specific and no longer 2.35 but available in both 2.4 and 2.25 - so the 2.25 effectively replaces the Albert. I don't think it's available in the UK yet, but if it's a better version of the Abert then it should be quite good.
Panaracer Cinders are good up front as well, at least round here. And yes, the Peak destroys everything - it's what it's good at. You can't beat the sound of brake pads, rotors, chains, chain rings and bearings being ground to oblivion by wet, gritty sludge
