This is one of the narrowest optics available for the MC-E, giving 7 lux (at 1 M)/lumen. To buy 7 from cutter would cost me £58 shipped, for about £8 more I can buy 50 of them from a UK supplier. Any takers in the UK for a few of these optics? Price would be ~£2.50 each, or £2.00 ea for 5+ since I don't want to be left with 43 of them, plus P&P. Could also post out to the US (or anywhere else), if someone over there is willing to receive a batch of them and send them out to the US based buyers, since if I send multiple parcels to the US it'll end up costing a ridiculous amount in postage.

Anyone interested? If I get confirmed for 20 (also advertising elsewhere), I'll do it.

Datasheet here (it's a PDF, 175kb)

why not buy from these people

http://www.dotlight.de/en/LEDs/LED-High-Power/CREE-LEDs/Cree-Emitter-Optics

or direct from the UK manufacture of those other ones.

If you can find the POL 225 there, please buy away

This is for people that specifically want the tightest optic for the MC-E currently out.

I would be interested in one to try but I don't trust the manufacturers claims generaly with regard to optics so would not want to get more than one without seeing it for real.

I spent last night comparing the 6 specific optics I have for the mce (the three boomerangs and the 3 LM1's)  and for pure throw eg taking a max lux reading the rocket SS designed for the xr-e was best so all told I was not too happy.  results so far here if your interested.  I plan to get one each of what Bram is offering with his groupe buy on CPF.

None of that made any sense to me.

I guess it must be what this forum is normally like to 'normal' people?

None of them look anything special compared to my 38mm ish torch reflector.

I could do with a Approx 33mm Reflector for a P7 any ideas ??

I'd be interested in a couple of these narrow optics at £2.50 each, did you buy them?
