Anyone own one of these or has had any experience of them?

I'm after a carbon post and like the look of them, but remember seeing lots of pics of broken carbon Aliens with snapped shafts or debonded heads and it put me off USE posts.  WOndered if these were any better?

The sumo is meant to be an improvement on the old aliens.

If you are after light weight have a look at the SDG I-Beam system - post and saddle together weigh circa 450g, and less than £60 on current deals for both.

I considered the I Beam but they appear to have a high failure rate and the usual 'attitude' from Silverfish when it does go wrong.

Hadn't looked at the Sumo because of the previous history with USE posts snapping.

I do, however, know someone running the FSA  K Force carbon jobbie & has had over a year out of it with no problems.

Having run a Use shockpost i refuuse to touch anything made by that company.  It was so shockingly poori couldnt trust anything if that managed to get past their QC dept.
