If you need anything for Mavic Crosstrail wheels, spokes, bearings, freehub, etc the parts will not be as widely available as those for Hope/Mavic custom build.

The Hopes are easily home serviceable and spokes are available at the majority of bikeshops. If you are worried about the strength of the wheel, have a Mavic freeride rim fitted instead of the XC717. Have fun.

Mavic 719's are a little bit wider than 717's whilst not weighing that much more.
