as a newby to mtb (been a roadie for years) i`m asking lots of riders for tyre advice. i ride to work across grass and a little tarmac (it`s only a mile) so i`m looking for an all round tyre that i can use to comute/ride off road on the yorkshire wolds/north york moors. i also need them to be puncture resistant. is there a tyre that meets all my demands please.

something like the kenda small block 8 may be a good choice, they seem to be pretty good for rolling resistance whilst still good off road.

Anything with nobbles would probably do the trick!  me and my pals use panaracer flataway kevlar in out tyres which are about 95% puncture resistant........quite expensive though, but worth it methinks!

Rub her what ?
