Hi All,

I'm fretting over what to build up as a winter commute bike.

Currently I use a single speed langster for my fairly rural commute over the winter months but quite often had to resort to my full susser when it got nasty.

This year I wanted to build a beefier 'go anywhere' commuter, porbably single speed.I like the idea I could run thin tyres for the road plus knobblies for a quick 'blast'.

I have quite a few bits left over from my last mtb build (reba fork, wheels, disc brakes) so I was thinking:

One one inbred/scandal slot drop out 26er

Kinesis Decade Virsa

Cotic roadrat

But, having seen the rather lovely Cotic X at the cycle show maybe I should sell all the bits ive got and get a cyclocross bike instead (I've been thinkking about having a go at this for a while):

Cotic X

One one Uncle John

Kona Jake

Any thoughts? and no the wife won't let me have both!

Ta,

Mat

There are currently a couple of already built-up On-One's on ebay - just buy one of them

And then get a cc bike anyway...
