did anyone find these incredibly itchy when they first wore them?

no. Wash them and use some fabric conditioner, although this will affect the water repellency

already washing them as we speak...might try some bounce...btw these are the longs...ive got some wash-in nikwak anyhow

Don't use fabric conditioner....it makes them smell worse(after you've worn them, that is). Really, that's what it does to breatheable clothes.

shorts or longs? i've never had any trouble with the shorts but the longs are a much tougher fabric than most and they can feel a bit 'rough' though it doesnt bother me.

the problem i have is with them slipping down and having to hoist them back up at regular intervals.

theyre the longs... think they just need breaking in like my pace fieldsensor shorts....mind you theyre certainly meant for rough weather how thick? I feel like im wearing a wetsuit
Show/hide user stats
they may be thick but i dont think they're actually that warm
the endura biblongs on the other hand.... i reckon it has to be below about 5C before they're not too much, and mine arent even the windproof ones.

Using fabric conditioner impairs the breathability of material.
