Can anybody tell me if the Hope lookalike skewers on sale at Chain Reaction in NI are any good?

what you pay for them you can`t really complain

still better off with Shimano skewers, they are the ultimate

back to the original, the hope lookalikes are OK, they won't last as long as the authentic ones, as they've no brass bush, but TBH it probably don't make that much difference.
the heads are probably made by the same persons and only finished at hope.

I use one of these on the front of my bike, and it drives me mad.. It always seems so difficult to get them tight enough.. When you do, it's a nightmare undoing them.. But they are well cheap, and I still run with it after about a year, so I guess they can't be that bad.

I'd recommend the Airborne ones. $15 on the Airborne website. Very light Ti QRs. Though you do have to pay VAT and Postage mine are superb.

Just ordered a couple of sets.. Bloody cheap!!

A few months ago I ordered a set...and sent them back! They might look (vaguely) like Hopes but the quality is crap!
