Know the ones you mean now - have seen them from the bottom.
Yes you would need to be brave and talented to ride them (neither of which I have in abundance) but you missed out the essential suicidal tendancy requirement and possibly a parachute.
Don't like the look of the Baildon ones either Pennine!
It's 'cos there was a post on STW saying there were only 50 places left - made me get my finger out, as did everyone else apparently - sold out next day.
Stairs, aye, noticed them Baildon ones - they do look a sod of climb...
Gill (and anyone else daft enough), I'm riding tonight from Timble Ings crossroads (gravel park on left) @ 7:30 - 7:45.
I'm not pushing this as an 'official' Nth Lds run 'cos there's no pub involved (none near enough!) plus it may have more mud, tech & bog content than some might like.
Good Evening All. There is a 31 mile charity ride on Sunday 21st Sept starting in Oxenhope and by all accounts heading over the tops to Widdop and back via Wycoller and Stanbury. A minimum donation of 20 quid is required, all monies go to Sue Ryder care. Registration forms are available at www.sportkeighley.com or by contacting Andrew Wood (01535 640430) andrew.wood@suerydercare.org
Thanks for the "tour of the moor" last night Rob. Bogs galore - great stuff! Oh yeah looks like Coed y Brenin is just a Duathlon - you'd better start running!!
Didnt see Joe K last night, but had a blast on some dusty towpath followed by a lot of fun around Bramley and some new stuff in Horsforth, I can only describe mine and Yodas riding as amateurish, Eliot on the other hand was far more pro.
bollocks. just noticed the 7ish time on the post on the Rodley ride. i got there at 7:25 expecting a 7:30 ride. still i meandered round Roundhay Park in the dark instead. it was kind of fun.
will look more carefully at the time for the next ride i promise. hope you didn't wait too long
Counting the days Greenville before the froggy arrives along with a DH and the lady 514.
