What is the best tyres out there at the mo. I've got a chameleon with mavic en321 rims. I'm running nevegal 2.35 right now but keep getting snake bits was thinking of changing the back to a 2.2 may go tub-less. I do tend to ride quit hard. what do you all think.

 If you are getting a lot of snake bits (sic) then tubeless would not be a bad idea. I run a set of Nobby Nics from Scwalbe in a 2.1 and are pretty impressed with them (but I tend to do a lot of enduro races on them so a low rolling ressitance is quite important to me)and a friend of mine who likes riding larger carcass tires has just got the NN in a 2.5 and absolutely loves 'em.

 Best tyres... No such thing, all down to the area you live, how wet it is, what you ride and riding style. Best thing to do is check if there is a genral common cosensus on tyre choice in your local area, if there is then normally that's the tyre to go for.

 If you ride quite hard, then go for a bigger tyre not a smaller tyre. Tubeless would help, but if your hitting that hard you'll just wreck the rims instead. Or just a few more PSI's in those tyres, they should be fine with those rims 30psi+ easy.

 If you want lots of grip and are not too bothered about a 'bit' of drag go for Hi Rollers 2.35... with a super tacky on the front, amazing grip!. Not really suitable for lighter XC bikes, or if you do lots of road/fire road riding though... all depends where/how you ride. can't comment on tubeless... never used.

I ride dalby and up on the moores. so it quit dry at the mo. I might try some more psi. just a bit sick of the drag with 2.35.

More PSI will decrease the Drag  Then less PSI when it's muddy for extra grip, easy!!

Hi all…. I owe a Honda Civic and I love it. Whilst inspecting my car tyres last week, I noticed some cracking cracking between the treads and the side walls and therefore need new tyres. I am searching for a best place to buy them from. Also suggest me which tyre company has a good performance on road - MRF, Apollo Tyres, Ceat and JK Industries. I don’t want to compromise with quality of the tyre.

 would reccommend Toyo's for your car - I've just done 55K on my car in 2.5 yrs started on Continentals at 0miles changed at 18 K and then got the rest out of my Toyo's! -better performance in grip and longevity. as for bike tyres - you need to think about what you don't get from what you currently run and start there but be careful as you may get less overall from a new set.

 Hi Roughneck, I seemed to get quite a few punctures with the cheapo Navegal 2.1 on my rear but since I've swapped to the 2.1 tubeless Navegal (still with a tube), it's been trouble and puncture free.
