Hi Andy. No, always meant to but never got round to it. Maybe in the future, but not next year. I'm off to S. China for Jan & Feb (ending up in roughly the same region as this recent crazyguyonabike report by the unfortunately named Laura Wanker); then August onwards will be something involving Tibet and big mountains, exact schedule to be decided upon.

In Istanbul in August, I was in a bar and I bumped into the guy who made this Tibet video. I'd finished a bike trip from the UK, he'd just finished a trip in Central Asia - here's the video....I assume, because I can't see it, even using a proxy. In fact, I can't even see that Tibet video, despite being able to see stuff of my own up on Youtube. Obviously some keyword there the Great Firewall really doesn't like but, anyway, you might as well see it.
