Nick good to see you tonight was a big group out tonight..!  But hope it gave you a idea of the course for this Sunday..

The course is alot of fun the decents are super fast and with a couple techy pick your line  decents and bomb holes trails add to the mix....  But there is a couple of nasty climbs that  are not so nice to....

Roll on Sunday its going to hard work but a lot of fun....

Well done to Pants and the crew for putting on an excellent race. The trails were fast and dry and fun. I think we may have left "Pants Way Round" and a few other trails in a sorrier state than they were yesterday though! I came back happy with 6th place in the old fellas' 4-hour race and my sister, on her 4th time out on a mountainbike, took 6th place in the women's 2-hour. She won a large pair of bloke's compression tights, which at least resolved our puzzlement about why several of the podium winners were wearing long tights on a hot day.

MT well done to you and your sister..  It was a good course and yes needs a bit of a rest now and maybe some rain to help pack done the lose stuff.

Was good fun watching everyone race and riding round the course sorting out problems, like 3 kids with water bomb who was ripping up some of the tape and being a pain..!!

Nick hope that your knee is ok,  Jason well done you and Lou did a good job..

All in all a good event roll on next year.

Yes, I noticed a bit of tape sabotage going on. Some little imp left tape tied across the track instead of along it and I ended up ploughing into it but it didn't cause any more than a moment's brief consternation. You need more snipers next year to get the little devils.

Was there a mention during prizegiving of another event in the autumn or were my ears deceiving me?

MT tell me about aaaaaaaaarrrr

There is plain of a 3 events over the winter which am sure Pants well post up when the info come out, on other areas about 5 miles away from Porridgepot.

I can PM you when I know more from Pants if you like.

Excellent! That's what we need. After the Gorrick Autumn races the winter is a bit of a slack period for racing. There are the Thetford races but it's impossible to get to them by train in time for the start. I've got some big plans for next year so some winter racing would be just the thing to keep the momentum up.
