I am planning this ride in late May, I know the weather is anyones guess recently but does anyone have experience of how the ground is on the southdown way in May ? I am best waiting till the so called summer months ?
Well Rob Lee did his record in May and there's normally at least one god week of weather. It could be a matter of saying that you'll be riding in May and hanging on for the right weather forecast.
Not the easiest way to plan to do something like this I know but it's either that or do it in less than favorable conditions.
