as im getting stalled with riding alone and the lack of opportunities for trips-out to Wales / Scotland etc.....i just wondered if anyone was interested in starting a mtb riding club / group in the keighley / bingley / silsden area.
With intention of organising weekly rides, lift sharing, sharing route info, trips away, races/marathons, maintenance help, beer drinking etc.
Let me know.

These lot have organised rides around the Aire valley and Wharfedale, most of the regulars come from Bingley/Otley or other local areas, I think. The regular night is Tuesday, but you can post advertising other rides if you want.

I have ridden with North Leeds on a couple of occaisions and they often stray over towards your way (see the thread in the Rides Section)

no sorry lads i didnt, not much interest im afraid, i have a mate who could be interested but he's not riding much at the moment, but im still looking for more riding buddies, maybe we could have a ride out sometime and discuss ???

aye fair doos.. i got a couple of mates too who will be up for it.. its just getting them together at once.. personally ive only ever riden the local trails (fairly new to it really),,been riding a couple of years.,, tend to go up oxenhope/ogden.. the old harden st ives route..... and over the morton (through that little wood) skipton moor into skipton and back the canal.. need some more variety really.

i know those trails, but prefer to venture a bit more, usually ride Dales / Pennines etc, like to vary riding as much as poss, i'll be out for a ride sunday morning if you're available, maybe Malham or Hebden Bridge ?, approx 20 miles, let me know, and if you have transport.

cant really this weekend dude. thanks for the invite tho'/// got a mega DIY sesh on the way (doin up a house,been at it 3 years) so i really need to be using sunday to do that...... no fun at all.... will defo be up for it at a later date tho' .. cheers..... av been wanting to do the Malham loop...is it hard or fairly steady???

there are loads of variations to rides around Malham / Settle / Hetton. Let me know when you are able to get out, i ride nearly every weekend somewhere.

thanks davey, you may know i rode out with your mate Tom on sunday morning and hope to hook up with you guys again although wont be this weekend due to the usual family/work commitments.

Aside from that i ride virtually every weekend and know some great dales rides etc, will also be doing the Sowerby Bridge MTB challenge next month if any of you guys are ?

yes, rode it for the last 2 years,there are probably approx 250 riders (?), its 26 miles and takes in Hebden Bridge etc, its on Sun Oct 12th, see attached link.
