sorry if this is the wrong section of the forum, but I am trying to find a shop that has a couple of different sizes of Kona Jake in stock so that I can sit on a couple and size them before buying........I am really struggling!

I will be buying it on the cycle to work scheme and would prefer an 08 model as I like the black better than the red 09.......and I might get a bit of a deal

Kona like most of the big players have a fleet of test bikes. I would say that the shop are just being lazy bastards getting one organised for you. Tell them you will buy the bike from them if they get you a test ride on one, if not you will go elsewhere to buy one.

Thanks for that info, I am near  stansted airport (bishops stortford)....I have tracked down a 54cm in Rickmansworth bikehut, but everyone else who I have called (a lot of blimmin shops) say they can't get one, let alone have one to try....the lazy thing crossed my mind too.

 And I  am 6foot tall with about 33"-34" inside leg.............stop the innuendo there

problem is Paligap dont have any, so it's not a case of lazy bike shops.

at your size I'd get a 56cm anyway.
