Tim, you over sensitive soul,Theres a lot wrong in China, the people are controlled watched, told what to do, there are severe laws against doing things as an individual, the internet is blocked, theyre gradually buying up british industry, corrus, typhoo,rover, mg the list goes on.
Basicly most of the runners from uk are black, the cyclists and swimmers white, the rowers private school, most of the presenters/comentators, have no idea of the sport, especially the mountain biking, so london town has a load of foreigners round for 2 weeks, so what, the cost , disruption, and the repayments will cripple the london tax payer.
Its just turned into a junket for wealthy people, and a few athletes,its all marketing hype, the money should be spent on the sports not a hugely expensive games.Look what money did for cycling, etc.

Always have a genny & fuel at circuits that some have no Mains Power.
Prep the bike 10 mins before the session.20 mins is a long time on a circuit session so be hydrated and fully fuelled, or don’t bother – if in doubt , sit this one out –and live to ride another day.
Always take instruction if it’s offered or asked for. Best ask for it as you know you’re not good enough, so seek out the tutors, regardless of your perceived ability.
