Im after some opinions now after mike so swiftly answered my previous sizing question

From the earlier feedback it became obvious that standover height is ok for my buddy so we have been sat on tinternet all night looking at other makes..He was going for an trek ex8/9

we have come across last years rush 4 which is carbon has an rlc fork and Xt except the shifters this is on sale at 1499 which seems a bargain and to be honest its pretty hard to find a better spec for the money

can anyone offer any suggestions not to go for this as it seems a scraming deal

or any alternatives from the broader experience and bargain hunters
