Does this mean the Handjob will be neglected for a while?
Depends where I ride, the Prophet had been neglected for a while tbh. Dalby is a bit of an arse killer on the hardtail for example. They're both very nice The extra weight of the coil shock is not noticable at all, it's almost like it does the job so well you don't notice it working if you get what I mean. Where as with my old air shock it used to bounce me around on the saddle, none of that anymore, super plush it is, oh I already said that!
I know what you mean - I have no idea what they do to the internals when they PUSH 'em but the end result is mind-blowing.
Ain't new stuff great
You should've mentioned tyres about 6 weeks ago John - a load from my garage were donated to anyone that wanted them with some others goind in the skip. Not sure whether there's owt lurking around other than some Tralrakers & a older pair of Nics. I believe Karlos may still have a shed load (literally).

Dude, watch what your saying, its a entire 1lb there is no way you'll be able to ride a incline steeper than 2degrees with 1lb of extra weight, you'll have the weight weenies going crazy on that remark.
Ramgages are Arse Lordy be warned, Kena Nevegals are the better version of them.
My bike is built up pretty light anyways tbh, plus I only have half a fork!
I'm guessing it's 29-30lb currently, not bad for a 140mm travel bike, 140mm being 5.5" but it's now 6" at the rear with the new shock, maybe more. I'll have to work it out properly when I can be arsed.
Wouldn't worry about it, I had 9lbs of difference between my old Ruckus and Trek HT couldn't tell the difference ??? NO, Except for when picking it up to lug it over stuff then the Ruckus was a bitch
What you said is just what I found with the Ex200 on the Enduro DK, it's better in every respect than the fox, except being so plush I do suffer more pedal strikes when climbing.

Not suffered from that problem and I did some very rocky climbs yesterday, but the Prophet does have a high bottom bracket when in the XC position and I'm fairly light on the pedals, more of a spinner than a grinder.
Which reminds me, I tried the shock in the freeride position and there was no clearance between the frame and shock end plate, I may have to swap it round which will means swapping the bushes over, faffing about
