I have a road bike which I have started using a lot more, the problem is water bottles....

Basically I have replaced them a few times and they always taste like crap !!

Can anyone suggest a decent one ?

I have a camelbak mule for MTB, but want to travel light and get out quick !

I have been putting in some cordial etc, but they still taste like sh1t ! lol

I have been using the vittel water/bottles, it fits nicely into the cage.

Are the Camelbak Podium's any good ?

I've just bought a couple of the new Camelbak podium bottles and they are excellent, the water tastes like water and not plastic. They have a funky valve too which you don't need to bite to pull it open and then slap down again, it is lockable too so you can keep it in a sportsbag withot fear of it leaking.

Highly recommended. 

Just ordered the podium bottle to give it a try.

The bladders are great, so I am hoping the bottles will be good too ! Cheers.

Get an aluminium bottle, not a plastic one - problem solved.
