No 853 On-ones being made & certainly not listed on't website.

I've not ridden a newer Handjob but IIRC they got a stiffer front end so the rear should be as forgiving as it ever was.

Bruv and I are really chuffed with our Souls. Mike is right about the P7 - it's quite chunky-looking now with gussets, fatter tubes and sliding drop-out. To be fair I haven't ridden a modern P7 but it doesn't look like a zingy lightweight anymore. Handjob would be great I reckon also the merlin Rocklobster 853, Pipedream, Voodoo, and Dialled.

My Soda was mega-zingy, but it's also mega expensive and some bastard is liable to break into you garage and Steal It!!!

Cove Handjob gets my vote, I have got a new one, wanted a steel frame to replace an old but loved GT high end steel frame , it is fantasitic, great handling and feel.

I have A cove stiffee (and a hustler) too, the handjob is completly different in the way it rides, I like both, but on longer rides the handjob is better, just do not take it down crazy rough stuff, it is not meant for that (I have different bikes for that).
