Paramo Vasco for me.

Waterproof, windproof, properly breathable, durable and can yank pit-zips open for climbing. Proper hood but no rear pockets. Not particularly hi-viz if you have to stray onto the road.

Have used it for mtb, walking, climbing, waiting around on a welch hillside, avoiding getting soaked on way to pub.

The only jacket you'll ever need (which is good because they are bleedin' expensive). 

RRP £180 - but just looked on a leading OUTDOORS website where you could GO and they are on special at £110 !!

Thats about £70 less than I paid - even if they only have cr@ppy colours that's a bargain

Bought a Lusso Aqua Cape for £15.99.

Nothing special but hi-vis, useful for night commuting!
