so today bright sunshine rang customer up, to say i would be coming to fit a new rear gate for him, no answer, rang again , and again, eventually at 12.midday he was there, so went to pick up gate, waited to be served for minutes, the free coffee machine was empty of water, so no free coffee, good banter with the lady on the counter, gate required no stock, next bigest size , no longer stocked, 3rd biggest size, in stock, (needed to be cut down), so pay for gate, and enter the abyss that is the warehous, saw the warehouse lad, sorry mate none in stock, delivery next thursday, so back to the office, and get a refund.
So ring customer up , to say the gate was out of stock, he was ok about it.A day of work and pay lost.
went to a competitor trade desk, opened an account, with them, gate in stock and 12 quid cheaper, and also got a credit note for a 100 quid, for opening the account, sadly they dont own any bike shops.
The suns now shining and am off out on the road bike!
That is quite a poor rant....where is the anger? To me it sounds like something that was a bit annoying but ended up turning into something ok. Would have been better if you'd paid for it in the 2nd place only for it to be out of stock. I think you should be feeling pretty lucky.
I was trying to be calm, and not let my inner turmoil and hatred for the capitalist system, that is now screwing the uk economy up, show in my postings.
Sadbloke, but only in a cyberphysical way. wrote (see)

Regardless of the fact you should move to another country if you don't like the one your in rather than whinning on the internet about it.......how can you have a calm rant?
