Yeah, basically, put a wedge between the pistons, fill a syringe up with whatever they sell at halfords fit the tube on the nipple and pump it right up till the stuff pours out of the top, pump a load of times, repeat, then put the cap on the master cylinder, tighten the botls and stuff and jobs a good un.
Be warned the hope nipple is fucking sharp...I've gouged my knuckles so many time trying to get the little bit of hose on!!
If you reverse bleed Hope brakes with the pistons fully home in the bores, the first few pulls of the lever take half the fluid out of the MC res to set the pistons.
Top bleeding is cleaner, and more accurate than using hope's pressure kit IME. I bleed Hopes with the disc and pads in position without any problems. And on a wet weekend at Afan, I can bleed as many as 20 sets of brakes. 2 or 3 of which would be Hopes.
I've even replaced the bleed port screw on Maguras with Hope bleed nipples (old Mini style longer version) using the top bleed method, and got better results than when using Magura's kit & method. (informing customers that it may nullify their 5 Yr anti leak warranty 1st of course)
