Which way do I turn the gizmojig to unscrew the BB?

This is all going to end in tears

Yep that's what I thought....Must just be welded in solid again

Plenty of grease or anti seize before you reassemble it.

Also try applying a bit of tightening force, and then untighten it, this may break the rust seal.

Ooh, I've just learnt something from that Park page. Using a rear skewer to hold the BB tool in place is a clever idea.

Yep, got it in a vice and it popped straight out...good tip using the frame as a lever.

The entire bike is now in bits, for a full on strip down and rebuild....even down to a new paint job!

I'm terrified of what will happen when I take apart the brakes. but the lot needs cleaning.

can you get individual xtr cassette rings? only on or two are looking a little rough.
